COLOSSAL/EXTRA-LARGE DUFFEL BAGS are NO longer permitted for shipment into Camp Barney due to the physical requirements and financial costs associated with managing these bags.
Recent 2022 tariff changes have made the shipment of Colossal or Extra-Large Bags extremely cost-prohibitive to Integrated Freight Logistics (ShiptoCamp), Camp Barney and our camper families. As a direct result, any bag shipped through ShiptoCamp exceeding 120 dimensional inches can result in charges assessed to the camper family at an additional cost of $165.00 per bag, per leg.
Dimensional inches are calculated as follows:

Length + 2x Width + 2x Height (when fully packed)
ACCEPTABLE BAGGAGE DIMENSIONS for transport to/from Camp Barney are: 36” x 16” x 16” up to 40” x 20” x 20” not exceeding 120 total dimensional inches and 50 lbs. |

Oversized baggage fees passed down by common carriers to IFL/ShiptoCamp are the responsibility of the camper family and will be charged to a credit card on file only after all carrier invoicing has been reviewed & reconciled by IFL/Ship to Camp management.
NOTE: Credit card processing for any fees owed to IFL/ShiptoCamp may take up to 6-8 weeks after the end of your camp session in order to ensure all carrier billing has been fully reconciled.

For South Florida Residents Only, baggage will be picked up by IFL /ShipToCamp at no charge.
For Residents Outside of South Florida, baggage can be picked up for an additional $15 or you may plan to drop baggage off at no charge at a local facility.
For South Florida Residents and Residents Outside of South Florida that require a special pickup of bags at camp due to early return home, there will be a $15 charge. |
